KDC Competitive Companies
Our KDC Competition Companies are for dancers who want to train and perform at a competitive level. We offer several competitive teams for dancers ages 5-18 with various levels of commitment. Companies are selected at our audition in early June. Once in a company, dancers are required to take multiple hours of technique, acro, and ballet courses a week on top of choreography rehearsals for group dances and solos/duos/trios if offered. Throughout the season, companies will attend at least 3 regional competitions in the Chicago/Milwaukee area and end their season at a National Competition in the early summer.
Jr. Ramblerette Allstars
This program is a youth-based competition and performance dance team in partnership with the Loyola Academy Ramblerettes and Karisma Dance Company directed by Loyola Dance team alum and former coach, Anna Wetoska. Our mission is to provide dance team-style technical training and gameday performance opportunities to young dancers interested in joining a dance team in the future. The Allstar program was founded in 2022 and has tripled in size since our first season. We offer a prep team, gameday team, and competitive team that all perform at Loyola Academy sporting events. Auditions to join this program occur in June! If your dancer is interested in joining an all-star team, we highly recommend the dance team prep class as a way to prepare for auditions.
